Lawn Tennis

Long regarded as a sport for the elite, tennis is now gaining popularity and is appealing to players everywhere especially with tennis players like Mahesh Bhupathi, Leander Paes, Sania Mirza and others putting India on top of the map for sport. Tennis is a physically demanding sport.

The Club offers 10 tennis courts, six clay courts and four synthetic courts, which are all weather deco turf surface, flood lights with trained and experience markers are available to play with of international standard.

Chess

Chess is a war game of ancient origin and was discovered in India. Eight pieces and eight pawns on a side, a board of sixty-four squares arranged in a square. The rules are formal and fixed. The last successful variation to chess was nearly five hundred years ago. The club provides a very peaceful space to play chess to the members of the club.

Swimming

The Olympic-sized, open-air pool is 50m long and split into 8 lanes, each segregated by ropes with most modern equipments, bacteria free water treatment plant is most hygienic.

Swimming is an effective form of exercise and gives your muscles, heart and lungs a great workout. It also improves cardiovascular conditioning and is great as a weight control exercise. The unique thing about swimming is that the buoyancy of the water essentially carries your body weight strengthening both the upper and lower body.

Swimming should not just be thought of just as a sport but an excellent form of keeping fit and having fun. It is a key life skill and should be taught in the same way as children are taught to read or write. If a child is not introduced to football or netball at school they miss an experience. If they don't learn to swim and are not taught about water safety they can lose their lives.

Swimming lessons also facilitate good technique improves posture and builds up stamina.

Aerobics

There aren’t many places in the Delhi where you can get a good Aerobics in the greenery while working out, but at club you get the dream combination with our excellent aerobics facilities.

All aerobic classes are conducted outdoors using two different areas: ‘The Lawn’ and the ‘5-a-side’ astro turf pitch.

Our fully-qualified instructors provide daily aerobic classes for all levels, and the sheer variety ensures that there’s one that’s right for you: Salsa aerobics, Power workout, Aqua aerobics, Body toning, High & Low aerobics, Total body conditioning, Step, Thai-Bo, Fit ball, Thai Chi – Chi Gong, Funk aerobics, Kara-t-aerobics, or Stretching.

Latest equipments for the arranged classes are provided. You are required to bring some drinking water, a towel and some sun tan lotion!

Badminton

Badminton is a racket sport played on a rectangular court. The official game of Badminton was born in a stately home in Gloucestershire, England, home of the Duke of Beaufort. Badminton is the Fastest Racket Sport with shuttle clocking speed in excess of 200 mph. The best shuttlecocks are made from the feathers from the left wing of a goose. The club has two indoor badminton courts with wooden floors to our members.

Squash

Squash provides an excellent cardiovascular workout. The sport also provides a good upper and lower body workout by utilising both the legs to run around the court and the arms and torso to swing the racquet. In 2003, Forbes rated squash as the number one healthiest sport to play.

The Club has 2-world class, air conditioned glass back squash courts with a wooden floors, sound proof glasses and viewing gallery which have been recently refurbished and upgraded. Trained and experienced markers and coaching facilities are available throughout the year.

Billiards & Pool

Billiards is played in approximately 150 countries spanning the five continents. The number of registered players is estimated at well over 100 million.

In India, Billiards is considered a game of the elite and has the prerogative of the affluent class. But that has not stopped India from producing an impressive assembly of great champions like Wilson Jones, Michael Ferreira, Geet Sethi and the most recent Pankaj Advani underlining the powerhouse status of the country.

At The Club, we believe Billiards, Snooker and Pool should be a part of recreation and given the support to popularize the game. The club has two Billiard Tables and two Pool Tables for our members.

Table Tennis

The Table Tennis Hall has always attracted enthusiasts from all age groups and it is one of the popular sports in our club. The beautifully done up hall with enhanced lighting along with music makes a fun environment to enjoy table tennis. Three sparklingly new tables are laid out for your use. The Committee organizes Inter club & home tournaments every year.

Skating Rink

Skating is a great way to stay in shape while having fun. But, there are some important things to consider before strapping yourself into your new, used or borrowed skates. If you haven’t done so already; get a helmet, wrist guards, knee pads and elbow pads to use with your skates in the Skating Rink. Skating Rink having safety feature like safety wears and training facilities.

You do not need any special skills, superior strength, previous skating experience, great endurance, gymnastics history. But any activity more strenuous than walking requires that you consider your physical limitations before participating, skating included. If you have arthritis, a heart condition, breathing irregularities, a chronic illness, skeletal problems or any other medical concerns, make sure you talk to your doctor about skating activities. If you have not had a medical examination recently, now is a great time to get a complete physical check up. After a few months of skating, your doctor will be pleased with your condition and so will you.

Jogging Track

The club has a very good jogging track for joggers. The track gives an opportunity for morning and evening walk. Members and their children of all ages enjoy the green foliage and eco-friendly atmosphere all around.
